Miniature Masterpieces Everyday

"Apple" 6"x8" oil, March 26, 2006 A friend of mine and I were discussing some other artists we know that were completing a small painting everyday and posting them on a blog page and also offering them on eBay. We thought it sounded like fun and decided to try it ourselves. The worst thing that could happen is that we would have a bunch of nice small paintings stacked against our studio walls and improve our painting skills. I will use everyday objects for my subject matter. I have always been very visual and try to really look at things instead of just seeing things. There is a difference between looking and seeing and I would like my paintings to be a reminder of that. I will try to post a new painting everyday along with a link to the eBay auction site.
