You never know what the subject matter might be when it comes to commission work. I was recently hired to paint a piece of cheese pizza for a client. I don't usually ask why commission customers pick particular subject matters and that is true in this case as well. What is important is to give the client 110% of your talent on a subject you probably wouldn't ordinarily paint. With that being stated..... every so often on a rare occasion a painting falls together without issues or problems. This piece would fall into that category. I am really happy with the painting and every brush stroke and color note reads as a piece of cheese pizza. This painting is a commission piece and is therefore sold.
