6" x 6"
This painting is a very limited palette. I like the fact that the brush provides the lone spot of color. I think I managed to capture the clean clear look of a cool glass of water in this painting. As I was working on it I started thinking about the optimist vs. pessimist analogy. Is the glass half full or half empty? This is painting 267 in my Painting A Day Series. Painting Sold.

Darren, once again you have reminded me of my son. On his myspace page he has something I dearly love. There is the question "is the glass half full or half empty" and his answer was.."full because I keep refilling it".
This is a great painting. I love the way you rendered the clear glass and the water. I will be studying this one for some time.
My answer to that age old question is "Your glass is too big".
