Apple Sack #2 - Daily Painting by Darren Maurer

I have been thinking about the first apple sack painting since I posted it. Something about it is very intriguing to me. I wanted to paint another one and here it is. Paintings like this for me are as close to an abstract as any of you will probably see on this blog page. The brushwork is loose but controlled. I might paint a series of fruit subjects inside clear plastic bags. This is painting 210 in my Painting A Day Series. If anyone is interested in purchasing this piece send me an email by 7pm CST Thursday evening. As always the first email gets the painting. If it is still available tomorrow (Thursday) evening at 7pm I will post it on eBay. The price is a little bit more for the pre-auction sale because it is an 8"x8". $150 UPDATE: Painting Sold at 3:45am Thursday morning.
