Mother's Day Dandelions - Painting A Day by Darren Maurer

Last year before Mother's Day I painted two dandelions. I wanted to paint some again this year. When I see these bright yellow flowers in the spring I can remember picking them as a kid and bringing them in the house for my mother. They would sit in a vase for awhile until they wilted away and a few days later I would pick some more. Dandelions, kids, and mothers should always go together.
