Grape Bowl by Darren Maurer

This painting is slightly larger than all of my other miniatures. I wanted to try a square shape instead of the rectangular shaped paintings that I have been completing. This is the same bunch of grapes that the subjects for my painting entitled "Three Grapes" came from. Red grapes are quite an array of subtle tones of colors when you really study them. The various tones probably won't show on everyone's computer monitor. I am very happy with the finished product of this piece. This is painting 63 in my Painting A Day Series. Painting Sold
